Yoga is a practice that combines stretching, strength building exercises,
breathing exercises, and relaxation. It connects the mind, body, breath,
and heart. It can change your physical and mental capacity, while preparing
the mind and body for long-term health and well-being. Yoga’s deep
breathing and meditation practices help foster an inner shift from to-do
lists, kids and spouse’s needs, financial concerns, and relationship
struggles to something a little bit bigger than the issues you face. Yoga
helps relieve stress , unclutter the mind, and helps you get more focused.
The focus will be on a healthier lifestyle and more relaxed way of being.
Yoga can help reduce stress, lower blood pressure, improve organ function
and chronic conditions. Yoga’s focus on strength training and flexibility
is an incredible benefit to your body as well. The postures are meant to
strengthen your body from the inside-out, so you don’t just look good, you
feel good too. Stretching and holding of postures also causes muscles to
lengthen, which gives the body a longer, leaner look. Poses range from
lying on the floor while completely relaxed to difficult postures that may
have you stretching your physical limits.
No matter your fitness level, experience, or age, yoga has a place
for you. This program is made for yoga practitioners of all levels looking
for stress relief to physical fitness to rehabilitation. We make
modifications for beginners as well as those looking to advance into more
complex postures. You can look forward to one on one help for a home
practice, workshops, and fun events. Join us to begin your unique yoga
